About TeoGracia
Purpose
TeoGracia’s mission is to put more gospel-centered resources on the Web in Spanish. Much like the Desiring God and Gospel Coalition blogs, we translate and publish current articles from authors like John Piper, Jon Bloom, Rick Thomas, Bob Kauflin, R.C. Sproul, and others. Our desire is to bless Spanish-speaking believers all over the world with the same practical, gospel-centered articles every week that encourage so many English-speaking believers.
People
Teogracia grew out of a vision to bridge the gap between the vast amount of reformed and gospel-centered resources available to English-speaking believers vs. the Spanish-speaking church.
Founder David Chandler lived in Arequipa, Peru for 15 months and currently works as a part-time software developer. In his spare time, he manages funding and seeks to build relationships with like-minded authors, pastors, and missionaries throughout Latin America for the cause of the gospel. Peruvian Daniel Elias was Teogracia’s first translator, publisher, and business manager. He has gone on to work in IT. Most translation is now done by «Mafer» Artadi, also in Peru.
Beliefs
We share a common faith and spirit («In essentials, UNITY, In non-essentials, LIBERTY, In all things, CHARITY) as the F.I.R.E. fellowship of churches. In addition, we are committed to the idea, expressed by authors such as Jerry Bridges, John Piper, and Paul Tripp, that the gospel of God’s free and sovereign grace is not only essential for coming to Christ but also the foundational motivation and power for living more Christ-like lives (2Cor 5:14).
Funding
TeoGracia is supported entirely by donations from individuals who share our burden to bless the Spanish-speaking world with more gospel-centered resources. If the Lord has put this on your heart, as well, you may send a check to Teogracia, a 501c3 organization for US tax purposes. Please mail to
